Our devices are supplied by AndesFit which are FDA approved and should provide accurate measurements for patient vitals. If you suspect a device is not providing accurate measurements we suggest first reaching out to the patient, either through KardioPAC in-app messaging or an in-app video call, to follow up with the patient. Asking the patient to take their measurement again may confirm your suspicion or help you identify why the patient's suspicious reading occurred. It's possible a patient needs a refresher on how to take their vitals correctly. If the device does seem faulty, please reach out to customer service. Note: By following up with the patient using the KardioPAC Provider app you will be logging "interactive time" that counts towards the required billing time necessary for CPT codes 99457 and 99458.
